Looking for a perfect Rosh Hashana snack?
Look no further than these tasty (and somewhat healthy) apple chips! They are sweet and crunchy with a tangy yogurt dipping sauce. Your whole family will love them!
2 Apples, cut into thin rings
¼ Cup cinnamon
½ Cup sugar
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees fahrenheit. Cut the apples into thin rings. Once both apples are cut, use a paring knife to cut out the core/seeds from each slice.
Mix the cinnamon and sugar together in a bowl. Take each apple slice and pat each side into the cinnamon sugar. Place in a single layer on a baking tray.
Bake for one hour. Flip and bake for another hour.
While the apples are baking, make the yogurt dip by combining the following ingredients.
1 Cup plain greek yogurt
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 Teaspoons honey
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
When the apples are done let them cool for 10 minutes to harden before eating!
